Summer’s Last Stand
In a city that experiences beach worthy weather only a few months of the year, you can imagine that we are sad to see it go. Summer never seems to come soon enough and winter is never late. The bitch. Last weekend marked the end of yet another great season of festivals, late night rooftop drinking, and ladies in sundresses. Sigh. But summer didn’t go out without a fight. Northcoast Music Festival returned last weekend for the second year in a row. Chicago has always played a pinnacle role in the electronic music scene and the founders of NCMF started the fest to highlight those often overlooked genres.
Here are the three pictures that I managed to take amidst the bass pounding, sweat, crackheads, floating pandas, alcohol, and other influential vices.
